Morley J. Lertzman Award
The Morley J. Lertzman subspecialty clinician award was established in November, 2005 to recognise a clinician-educator amongst subspecialty attending staff. Using the numerical stores from Resident evaluations over the last four years, the highest numerical score determines the names of four nominees. Criteria for evaluation includes:
  • Clinical Decision Maker
  • Feedback
  • Communication with patients and Families
  • Autonomy/Graded Responsibility
  • Coaching, physical examination skills
  • Backup for houses
  • Punctuality
  • End of Life Decision Making Quality (applicable to most rotations)
