Liam J. Murphy Young Investigator Award
The Liam J. Murphy Young Investigator Award was established in 2006. This biennial award is given to a young faculty member who has been on staff for less than 5 years and who shows evidence of developing a strong research program.
The first recipient of this award was Dr. Laura Targownik, of the Section of Gastroenterology.
