Research Interests:
Researching emerging/re-emerging biosafety level (BSL) 3 and 4 viruses. The main focus is on molecular biology of the pathogens and the molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis. Studies are based on in vitro systems (tissue culture) and animal models.
