Dr. Ronald is currently a Visiting Professor at Makerere University where he spends several months each year training African physicians in HIV prevention and care and supporting operational research initiatives and clinical trials. He is also Senior Advisor to the International Centre for Infectious Diseases. In this role he provides leadership to mobilize resources for Infectious Diseases to improve Public Health performance in Canada and globally as well as enhance collaboration between the private sector, academia, and government. He continues to be an active investigator with research interests in ARV delivery and education in developing countries.
