Program of Study
The M.Sc. Rehabilitation program requires a total of 12 credit hours of course work, normally consisting of the completion of five 3 credit hour or half courses, in addition to the completion of a research-based thesis. The courses are selected with the approval of your advisor. A list of courses offered within the School of Medical Rehabilitation is found at: www.umanitoba.ca/medrehab/msc/msc_courses.html. Also other course offerings can be found in the Academic Calendar & Catalog.
The thesis requires the completion of an original scientific study by the student. The student is required to formally propose and defend the thesis research, and complete a written thesis. There are general thesis guidelines provided by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and thesis guidelines (PDF) provided by the M.Sc. Program. In addition, there are supplementary regulations (PDF) governing our program that students should become familiar with.
