Clinical Education Resources

Clinical Placements related to the clinical education courses occur throughout all years of the program with emphasis in year three. Most of the clinical placements are arranged within the greater Winnipeg area; however, in some cases travel outside of the city may be required. The following institutions/organizations currently have affiliation agreements with the educational program at the University of Manitoba:

• Deer Lodge Centre
• Riverview Health Centre
• Victoria General Hospital

• Brandon General Hospital
• Medigas

In addition to the affiliation agreements, the Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface General Hospital and Seven Oaks General Hospital are required to maintain accreditation status through the Council on Accreditation of Respiratory Therapy Programs. (CoARTE)
