A 35 year old female nursery school teacher comes to your office complaining of red, irritated eyes with profuse watery discharge of about 4 days duration.
Examination reveals visual acuity of 20/20 OU, normal visual fields to confrontation, equally round and reactive pupils, normal extraocular movements, and normal appearing fundi OU. On external exam the conjunctiva is diffusely red and follicles are noted on the palpebral conjunctiva OU.
