DUTKEVICH MEMORIAL TRUST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP IN PATHOLOGY
With a gift from the Dutkevich Memorial Trust, a graduate scholarship has been established in the Department of Pathology at the University of Manitoba. This award is valued at $300 and will be offered annually.
Applicants for this award must:
1. be enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba, specifically in the MSc. Program of the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine;
2. have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 (or equivalent) in the graduate program;
3. have either a) presented a research abstract at a national or international meeting and/or submitted a manuscript for publication, or b) completed a practicum and written a report as required for the Pathologists Assistant Program.
Eligible students will be required to submit:
- A letter of application to the Department of Pathology with a copy of any supporting documents such as a manuscript, abstract or practicum report. The letter should include a summary of current work and a statement of how this work relates to future career goals.
- A copy of current transcript
- A current CV, including list of publications, awards
- A letter of support from current supervisor
The recipient(s) of this scholarship may hold it with any other award. The Dutkevich Memorial Trust Graduate Scholarship in Pathology will not be awarded to the same recipient(s) in the consecutive year after the award has given to the student.
