Programs Offered
Degrees are offered at both the Masters' of Science (MSc) and Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) level.  The student must complete a miniumum of fifteen (15)  credit hours at the MSc level, while a minimum of nine (9) credit hours is required at the PhD level. A maximum of thirty (30) credit hours is allowed overall in each program.  

Admission to both degree programs, MSc and PhD, follows the regulations set forth by the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba. Students are referred to the current General Calendar for these regulations which set minimum standards for the university. Departments may set higher or additional criteria for entrance into or completion of degree programs. The general regulations for students in the Department of Physiology are outlined below; specific questions should be directed to the Chair of the Graduate Program Committee, currently held by Dr. Peter Cattini.
