Murray W. Enns, MD

Dr. Murray Enns MD, an adult psychiatrist, is an expert in mood disorders and suicide. He has an established track record of research in the areas of depression, anxiety, and suicide using clinical and community samples. Dr. Enns is the Head of the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Manitoba, and is a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Community Health Sciences. He is also the Medical Director of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Adult Mental Health Program.

Dr. Enns' research program focuses on the psychopathology, assessment and treatment of depressive illnesses, particularly major depressive disorder. Specific interests include developmental, personality and cognitive factors that are important in the genesis and maintenance of depression, and psychiatric epidemiology.
