Research is strongly encouraged at the University of Manitoba.  A number of Radiologists have ongoing research interests.  Medical students that wish to become involved in Radiology research are strongly encouraged to inquire with the department of Radiology.  Students have in the past worked on BSc. Medicine projects as well as informal research topics.  Student research activity in Radiology is strongly favored in the application towards a residency position.
