Once you have been accepted for the elective and the PGME Office has confirmed that all of your paper work is in order we will assist you with setting up the following;

All residents doing a surgery rotation require |
| Pager and Parking Pagers |
Pagers can be ordered for residents doing a surgery elective. The forms are completed and authorized by the SEO and then taken to the Parking Building. |
| Scrub Suits | HSC- Complete the PYXIS form online 2 weeks prior to your elective at HSC. St. Boniface Hospital- Scrub suits will be handed out at the OR desk. |
| OR Locker | (HSC site only) The SEO will assign an OR locker for the dates of your elective. Other Hospitals will assign lockers if available at the OR desk. |
| OR Access | HSC- You will gain access to the OR with your HSC ID. St. Boniface Hospital OR access is set up by taking your HSC ID to St. Boniface security and requesting a white access card. |
| Manitoba eHealth Electronic Systems | Upon arrival the SEO will provide you with forms to be completed for access to the electronic patient systems. You will gain next day access if forms are submitted by 1 pm on the day of arrival. Contact the eHealth Help Desk (204-940.8500) the day after your form was faxed. Please be sure to call from an area that can test your log-on. |
