Peter B. MacDonald, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Peter MacDonald joined the Department of Surgery, Section of Orthopedic Surgery in 1992.  He is a Full Professor at the University of Manitoba since 2002.  He has an appointment as an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation Studies at the Health, Leisure and Human Performance Research Institute at the University of Manitoba since 2001 and has a Diploma in Dip Sport Medicine since 1997.  He is Medical Director of the Pan Am Clinic and Orthopedic Surgeon to the Manitoba Moose and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Dr. MacDonald is a Graduate of the Residency Program, Section of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Manitoba. He did a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Western Ontario.  He is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.  In 1998 he established the Sports Medicine and Upper Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship.

Dr. MacDonald is a member of many associations, International and local.  He is well published.
