Providing general surgical services for neonates, infants, and children up to and including 16 years of age, we are the referral centre for Manitoba, Nunavut, and Northwestern Ontario. While we are based primarily at Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg, we also provide Pediatric General Surgical Services to St. Boniface General Hospital.

Our expertise is broad and includes surgical procedures for congenital neonatal anomalies and conditions, elective and emergent thoracic and abdominal conditions, trauma, head and neck anomalies/lesions, including thyroid diseases, airway and gastrointestinal endoscopy and soft tissue anomalies and lesions. Minimally invasive thoracic and abdominal surgical procedures are performed in addition to traditional open surgical approaches.
