Catherine Daniel (B.Mus./B.Ed. '07) continues in her busy opera career. She was in The Netherlands in 2009, playing the roles of Dido and the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas; this was a touring production which visited six cities in the Netherlands and two in Belgium. 

Following her European experience, Catherine sang the third lady in the Opera de Montreal's production of the Magic Flute. She also appeared as Mercedes (one of Carmen's companions) in the 2010 Manitoba Opera production of Carmen. after which she returned to a contract at the Opera studio Nederlands.
