On Wednesday November 30 and Thursday December 1, 2011, the Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music made history when, for the first time ever, our Symphony Orchestra and our Opera Studies program joined together to present The Marriage of Figaro.
The performance, which was a slightly condensed version of W. A. Mozart's famous opera, was held at St. Andrew's United Church. Semi-staged and beautifully costumed, this presentation was received with a standing ovation both evenings.
