AUDITION MATERIAL:

Material for MUSICAL THEATRE:
Out of Faculty students interested in Musical Theatre audition only in morning time slots.
Students will prepare a memorized Musical Theatre, G&S or Operetta selection showcasing their true vocal range and ability to inhabit a character. Students are asked to choose pieces that reflect the best of their current vocal and dramatic abilities and are requested to refrain from choosing “epic”/long songs as audition time is limited.
 

Material for OPERA THEATRE:
Auditions for Opera Theatre are for voice majors enrolled in the Faculty of Music.
Please bring an art song or aria that portrays character and is not longer 4 minutes.
Have the piece memorized.
Provide a legible copy of your piece (in the key which you will be performing) for the accompanist.
Accompanist will be provided.
