Diana Clarke, RN, PhD, is the Associate Dean, Research in the Faculty of Nursing and also serves as Director for the MCNHR. She is responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership for research within the Faculty of Nursing and the MCNHR, and implementing strategies to fulfill the mission and goals of the MCNHR. She encourages and facilitates applications by MNCHR members for research grants and awards and ensures that appropriate infrastructure and resources are in place to support and sustain a culture of research productivity and excellence. She provides a consultative perspective to MCNHR quality assurance projects and is available for research consultations with members of the MCNHR. In her role, Dr. Clarke liaises with local, provincial, national and international research groups and actively promotes and increases the visibility of nursing and health research conducted by members of the MCNHR within the province and beyond. |

Diane Cepanec coordinates and facilitates the development and delivery of research services to support the research and scholarly activities of members of the MCNHR. She works closely to facilitate and assist MCNHR members in developing research proposals for submission to internal and external funding agencies by providing consultation on funding opportunities and guidelines, pre-review of grant applications and assistance with the development of project budgets and knowledge translation plans. She provides daily supervision, training and support to research staff and assistants working in the MCNHR to ensure priorities and deadlines are met. Diane has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research and has over 10 years experience in project coordination, research design, data management, analysis and reporting. |

Administrative Secretary |

Lisa Wolfe-Ulrich provides secretarial and administrative support to the Associate Dean of Research/ Director of the MCNHR and coordinates MCNHR office functions. She plays a key role in organizing and supporting MCNHR activities including seminars, workshops, conferences, meetings and forums. She provides secretarial and administrative support for various MCNHR committees and for research grant submissions by members of the Centre. Lisa also manages research grant accounts for MCNHR members including preparing and processing administrative forms, and reconciling grant expenditures. |

Research Technician |

James Plohman provides a wide array of research support services to members of the Centre. These include assistance with proposal development such as information and literature searches, proof-reading proposals, preparing CV modules and completing online forms. James also assists with study implementation activities such as preparing documents for ethical approval and institutional access, project co-ordination for short term projects, and data management, entry and analysis. He contributes to dissemination activities including assisting with preparation of presentations, posters, reports, and publications. |

Statistician |

Brenden Dufault provides statistical support for members of the centre and graduate students in research designs, sample size calculations, and methodology considerations. In terms of data analysis, assistance will be provided in programming issues, choosing the proper procedures, actual analysis, as well as the interpretations of results. |

Student research assistants (RAs) provide research support services to assist members of the centre in their scholarly and research activities. RA support services include high quality literature and information searches, quantitative and qualitative data entry and analysis, assistance with completing on-line forms, management of bibliographic references using reference managing software, assisting in the preparation of reports, publications, and poster presentations. |
