Aboriginal Cohort Initiative

The Program in Brief

How to Apply

Being a single parent, the thought of returning to school after a decade away from academics, was unattainable. This program was, and still is my support blanket that I lean on when I need a tutor, counselling, and questions about student loans. Access has helped me balance school life with parent life. The staff became my extended family and I call Aboriginal House home, where people of any ethnicity are greeted with a smile. The Access programs has helped me succeed in university. As a result, I am in the Faculty of Nursing, working toward getting my degree. If I can do it, you can do it. (Marcie, Nursing student)
