Advance standing and challenge for credit opportunities toward courses in the Four-Year Baccalaureate Nursing Program are in place for Licensed Practical Nurses who have graduated from the Practical Nursing Program at Assiniboine Community College (ACC).
Note: Advance standing from this program is reviewed on a regular basis.
Advance standing for students will be considered on a case-by-case basis if course work has been completed outside the current transfer credit limits of 10 years for non-Nursing and 5 years for Nursing courses.

LPNs who have completed the program at ACC and received advance standing may use the 12 credit hours noted above toward meeting their admission requirements for the Baccalaureate Nursing Program. Applicants are required to take an additional 18 credit hours to attain the minimum 30 credit hours needed for admission. A minimum grade of "C" must be obtained in all University courses required for Nursing.
All applicants must meet the University Written English requirement.
