Turpin Named Canada West Male Athlete of the Week

Dec. 3 - Pete Turpin had a monster weekend helping lead the #4 ranked Manitoba Bison Men's Volleyball team to a sweep over a determined Calgary Dinosaur squad. Turpin was dominant in the middle in both games recording 14 kills and an incredible 8 stuff blocks in match one on Friday and following that up in match 2 on Saturday with a solid 12 kill, 9 blocking assist performance. His totals for the weekend were 26 kills, 10 stuff blocks, 10 blocking assists, 4 digs in 2 matches against Calgary.
