The Bison Golf team was co-founded by Derek Ingram and Garth Goodbrandson in 1999 to give talented Manitoba players the opportunity to continue to develop as golfers while receiving a quality and affordable education in Manitoba. From day one, the mission statement has always to develop champions both on and off the golf course.

The Bison Men’s first tournament was the Bemidji Invitational in September of 2000 and the Women’s first tournament was the NDSU Invite in September of 2000.

Former Bison players include Jill Hardy, Kristan Homeniuk, Todd Slatnik, Neil Erickson, Kevin Kotyk, Steve Bucko, Brian Kornelsen, Ryan Horn, Stewart Bannatyne and Terry James.
