Aside from being a prolific scorer, Saurette is also a great two-way player that pays attention to detail in his own end as well as the opponent's end. The native of Winnipeg, who spent his first two years of junior with the Regina Pats of the W.H.L. is not afraid to mix it up and can often be found mucking it up in the corners or throwing a body-check in order to make a play. Head Coach Mike Sirant has nothing but praise for Saurette, noting that he has a great work ethic, a terrific attitude and is always working to make himself better. |
