16 - In the Manitoba Bisons men's hockey team second pre-season
action of the 2007-08 season, the Bisons defeated the defending
Canada West champion Saskatchewan Huskies by a 4-2 score in Dauphin,
MB on Sunday, September 16.

Lafreniere (empty netter) each had one goal.

Harris played 30 minutes of action and Krister
Toews played the rest of the game and had a shutout.
In the other game, Regina won 4-2 over NAIT.
Manitoba
will continue their training camp and travel to Saskatoon for two
non-conference games versus Canada West opponents Alberta (Sept.
21) and Calgary (Sept. 22). |
