January 17 - The Bison swimming teams will not have any swim meets until the end of January at the 2008 Canada West championship.

The Bison teams consist of 15 overall swimmers (nine women and six men) and continue their intense training and workout sessions to prepare for the rigours of the second half of the season.

Manitoba has already qualified four swimmers (Braeden Taylor, Brent Collins, Jenna Houssin and Kerri-Ann Bochen) to CIS Championship.

The next major swim meet will be the Canada West Championships in Edmonton running from January 31-February 3.

This will be another good opportunity for additional Bisons to earn CIS standards plus compete for the first time against their conference opponents.
