| Nov. 12 - The defending CIS National Volleyball Champions remain undefeated in the 2004-2005 Canada West season, with their 3rd straight win, a 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 25-23) victory over the visiting Manitoba Bisons. In a close, hard-fought match the Saskatchewan Huskies came out on top, with Captain Mark Dodds (Lucky Lake SK, 4th yr) leading the way again with an amazing 18 kills. Manitoba’s kill leader was Matt Balchin (Victoria BC, 3rd yr) with 9. The win earns the Huskies a 3-0 record, while Manitoba is put back to 1-2. |
