Nov. 13 - It was all about the Saskatchewan Huskies this weekend in Saskatoon, as the green & white won 6 of 7 sets against the visiting Bisons. After a competitive 3-1 victory on Friday night, the Dogs came out roaring on Saturday and the Bisons could barely blink an eye before they were defeated 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-15) in just over an hour of action. After Mark Dodds (Lucky Lake SK, 4th yr) ‘killer’ performance last night of 18 kills, he once again led the Huskies with 16 in tonight’s performance. Toon van Lankvelt (Rivers MB, 3rd yr) led the Bisons with 6 kills tonight. The defending national champion Huskies remain undefeated with a record of 4-0 and the Bisons are now set back to 1-3. |
