January 21 - The University of Saskatchewan Huskies defeated the University of Manitoba Bisons 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 11-25, 22-25). Mark Dodds led the Huskies with 20 kills, 3 service aces and 4 digs. The Huskies had a total of 12 team blocks and had a 34.7% attack percentage compared to 15.8% for Manitoba. Josh Klassen of the Bisons lead the way with 12 kills and three service aces. Teammate Trevor Froese had a game high eight digs. The Bisons had a total of 9.5 team blocks. The teams have a rematch tommorow at 3:00 P.M. at The Investors Group Athletic Center. |
