January 19 - The Manitoba Men swept the Bobcats 3-0 (27-25,25-18,25-17) on Friday night in Brandon. The Bobcat Men were led by power #7 Marius Oros (12 kills), however a surprise performance came from #1 Matt Rayner, who filled in for Captian Al Hart on the right side for some of the match. Late in the season, Coach Paddock seems to be trying to find the right combination as all 12 players dressed saw court time. For the Bison Men, stellar setting from Kyle Joslin (37 assists) led to ruthless attacks from all positions. Finishing with the most kills for the Bisons, was power hitter Matt Balchin (12 kills). The Bisons and Bobcats Start their Saturday affair at the regular times of 6pm with the women followed at 8pm with the men. |
