| November 3 - The number one ranked Manitoba Bisons showed their dominance in a 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-16) sweep against the Winnipeg Wesmen Saturday night at the Duckworth Centre. Second year left side Sarah Morrissette led the Bisons with seven kills and seven defensive digs. The Wesmen were led by Marlee Bragg's seven kills. Libero Shanti Plett led Winnipeg with eight defensive digs. The match took just over an hour with Manitoba making only 8 errors on the evening. The victory improves Manitoba's record to a perfect 4-0, while the Wesmen fall to 0-4 in the Canada West regular season standings. The Herd will host UBC on November 9 & 10 at 6:00 at the Investors Group Athletic Centre. |
