    Beer and Bull
    Friday, August 27, 7 pm to 12 midnight in the University Centre.
    Catch up with classmates and former profs, and meet current members of the Department.  “Social” style buffet and cash bar.

    Department Open House
    Saturday, August 28, 4 to 9 pm in the Wallace Building. 
    Visit the Department of Geological Sciences in its home in the Wallace Building.  The Ed Leith Cretaceous Menagerie and R.B. Ferguson Museum of Mineralogy will be open. Formalities will begin at 5 pm. Buffet and cash bar.

    Field School Open House – Sunday, August 29, 12 noon to 5 pm at the Star Lake Field Station, Whiteshell Provincial Park. 
    Visit the Star Lake facility used for the current geology and geophysics field schools and meet some of the former and current field school instructors.  Snacks and drinks provided. Please note that visitors will have to arrange their own transportation to the field station and that no alcohol will be allowed on site for this event.
