Obituary for Robert Atchinson Caldwell, Nov. 14, 1907 - May 31, 1980.
Born in Oklahoma and educated at the universities of Colorado (M.A., 1932) and Chicago (PH.D., 1938).
Taught at the universities of Arkansas and Ohio at Toledo before he came to the UND in 1949.
In 1978, he became a Prof. Emeritus.
His research interests were Middle English & Geoffrey of Monmouth.
