| What? | A free, all-night event providing a safe and quiet study/writing space for students at a critical point in the winter semester. Reference librarians and writing tutors will be available to work with students to help them make progress with their papers. Light refreshments will be provided at midnight and prizes drawn throughout the night.

Parking will be available in N lot (the parking area surrounding the university's Administration Building) for students attending the Long Night at no charge. The parking fees in N lot have been covered for this event. Please note that public parking in N lot ends at 7:30am on Friday, April 5. |

| Why? | The first Long Night Against Procrastination was held at the European University Viadrina, Germany in 2010 as a way of supporting students academically. This is the first event of its kind in Canada and is now organized by several North American and European universities. |
