You can’t help but see the photograph on the cover of this book and remember what it feels like to play leapfrog. Whether you were the lump on the ground or the leaper, it was exciting! The author has photographed the fun ways young boys and girls of various ethnicities move and play. The children are all smiles as they travel by scooter, tricycle, or roller skates. Text and photos are by Beverley Abramson, an international award-winning Canadian photographer. The text rhymes and is effortless to read. Summer, fall, winter, and spring, children are busy moving. I especially like the two photographs of children balancing.

Children are sure to mimic what they see in this book. I will be reading this book for toddler time when I am doing a theme about motion, playing, or having fun. And I can use it all year round. A must book for your collection.

Highly Recommended.
