If we leave out the Arctic Islands of the North West Territories what is the largest island in the rest of Canada?
Although only the fourth largest island in Canada, the island of Newfoundland is the largest when those of the North West Territories are left out.
- Island of Newfoundland - 108,860 sq. km.
- Vancouver Island - 31,285 sq. km.
- Cape Breton Island - 10,311 sq. km.
- Anticosti Island - 7,941 sq. km.
- Graham Island - 6,361 sq. km.
- Prince Edward Island - 5,620 sq. km.
Of the 26 largest islands in Canada only these six lie outside the North West Territories.
