Arriving in Winnipeg via the Winnipeg International Airport:
The Winnipeg International Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from downtown Winnipeg and approximately 30-35 minutes from the University of Manitoba. Operating 24 hours a day, Winnipeg is easily accessible from the rest of Canada, the USA and locations worldwide. Rates for taxi and limousine services range from $25-$30 from the airport to the University of Manitoba and $15-$25 from the airport to downtown Winnipeg. Bus:
Delegates can obtain Winnipeg Transit guides at information kiosks throughout campus. Bus stops are located at various locations throughout the university campus, and offer regular service to downtown and all major connectors. Regular adult bus fare is $1.80 one-way. Transit fares can be paid in cash upon boarding the bus or transit tickets can be purchased from Answers Information Booth located at the main entrance to the University Centre. Delegates who arrive at the airport and wish to take Winnipeg Transit to the University of Manitoba campus can take the #15 Sargent-Mountain bus and transfer to the #60 Pembina bus, which arrives in the centre of campus and all residences. The journey takes approximately 70 minutes.
