An aerial view of Ottawa |
Ottawa, Ontario The federal capital of Canada, Ottawa is the meeting place of the French Canadian and English Canadian cultures. A city of park-like greenery and interconnecting rivers and canals, it offers endless biking, canoeing, hiking, and jogging opportunities both within the city limits and in the Gatineau Park area, just across the river. The fall is one of the best times to visit Ottawa because of the mild weather and the magnificent autumnal colours. |

Opportunities
for Supplementing Grant Stipend
These are few. There may be occasional openings as research assistants or in other ad hoc capacities on campus, but such opportunities are highly competitive. On the plus side, exchange students can use the sports facilities, the library, and other student services at no extra cost. |
