Winnipeg, Manitoba Home to nearly 700,000 people, Winnipeg is a city rich with cultural and social activities, and is the geographic center of North America. Winnipeg is a multicultural, multilingual, and multiethnic city which takes pride in its citizens being friendly, helpful and hardy. Weather in Winnipeg ranges from beautiful, with bright sunny skies, to the possibility of snow by the end of October. The scenery of falling leaves from the century-old elm trees which line the streets and Canada geese returning to their ponds at the end of the day, flying through sunsets over the prairie landscape is spectacular. |
