Notes for Contributors The Journal invites the submission of manuscripts contributing to informed dialogue and research about educational policy and administration in Canada. The journal takes a broad, interdisciplinary approach to educational issues, but articles should have a clear relevance to education, and to Canadian education in particular. Manuscripts submitted for publication should be sent by electronic mail as an attachment in MicroSoft Word or Rich Text Format (rtf) to: seifert@ms.umanitoba.ca. The accompanying cover letter should include details about the author's title, position, and institution or affiliation. The manuscript should not display the author's name. Normally a manuscript is about 5000 words, though shorter or longer works will be considered. It should follow the form and style as outlined in the American Psychological Association Publication Manual (5th ed.). Each manuscript must also include a brief abstract of approximately 100 words. Because of the limitations of electronic publication, authors are asked to minimize the use of charts, figures or tables in their papers. CJEAP is a peer reviewed electronic journal. All submissions will be reviewed initially by the editor for appropriateness to CJEAP. If the editor considers the manuscript to be appropriate, it will then be sent for anonymous review. Final decision to publish will be made by the editor, but be based on the recommendations of reviewers. Contributors may find it helpful to refer to the guidelines for reviewers, a copy of which is posted on this website. Each published submission (called an "issue") is published as soon as it is ready, not according to a regular schedule, such as is typical of print-based journals. |
