Each year between May and September, Mitacs Globalink brings a select group of international undergraduate students to do research under the supervision of outstanding faculty members in universities across Canada and participate in Globalink organized events such as professional development workshops, and government and industry meetings.

Support for Global Research Interns (GRIs):

• Reimbursement for plane tickets and work/study permits
• Bi-monthly stipend of $200/week for the duration of their internship
• Full medical coverage
• Accommodation and housing 
• Globalink Student Advisors (GSAs) mentor the GRI interns for the duration of their stay in Canada
