Dr. David Barnard, President, UM and Prof. George Magoha, Vice-Chancellor, University of Nairobi following the signing of an agreement renewing a partnership which ensures the joint management and operations of the University of Nairobi Institute for Tropical and Infectious Diseases. The Institute houses two Biosafety Level 3 Laboratories which are run through a joint partnership between the two universities and the National Microbiology Laboratory of Canada.
