Note: Completed application and FAAF form must be submitted to ORS according to the ORS deadline. If no ORS deadline identified, submit the completed application and FAAF two weeks prior to Agency deadline for major competitions. This allows ORS time to review and sign the application prior to submission.

What's New
Overview of the new SSHRC architecture
- SSHRC funding opportunities are available through three programs: Talent, Insight and Connection.
SSHRC - Guidelines for the Eligibility of Applications Related to Health
- SSHRC has updated the "Subject Matter Eligibility" section of their website, including the Guidelines for the Eligibility of Applications Related to Health.
Please check your funding opportunity’s description to see if SSHRC’s priority areas are applicable to that opportunity. Then read the following priority area descriptions carefully to determine whether your intended proposal is relevant to one of them.
- Most SSHRC funding is awarded through open competitions accessible to all disciplines, areas, themes and approaches. In certain cases, priority areas have been identified for additional support, a more tailored adjudication, or both.
- SSHRC is committed to supporting partnerships that create knowledge, share understanding and produce the insight Canada needs to successfully meet the challenges of the 21st century.
