Sculpture in polychrome plaster, wood and sheet metal by John Daniel, an American member School of Art faculty. "Mr. Daniel’s work has spare, rebel vigor. It turns away from easy solutions to problems of form and structure and reaches out into unexplored regions." (Winnipeg Free Press, March 25, 1967. p.7)

Daniel had recently completed a major commission to create 14 works representing the Stations of the Cross for the St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church in Winnipeg.

Daniel received a bachelor science degree from Lamar State College of Technology, Beaumont, Texas and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
