"Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow is a look at the changes and development of printmaking techniques, approaches and imagery from the beginning of the 16th century to the present. The 59 works in the exhibition, selected from more than 1000 works of the permanent collection and FitzGerald Study Centre Collection of Gallery 1.1.1., provide an intriguing glimpse at the interrelationship between technical developments in the making of an artist's work and the ever changing directions of the artworld in general.
The works in the gallery are of yesterday and today. The tomorrow part of the exhibition is left up to the viewer to extrapolate from what is in the exhibition as well as from what is not."
