A Retrospective of FitzGerald's work coinciding with the centennial anniversary of the University of Manitoba. "At a time when the art world was dominated by a search for spectacular new means of expression, here in Winnipeg FitzGerald was quietly producing works dealing with the backyards of Winnipeg, interiors, views from windows, apples, jugs, trees, and fields.
