Heimahagar-Homeplaces featured the photographic works of Icelander Gudmundur Ingolfsson and midwestern American Wayne Gudmundson (of Icelandic descent). Each artist travelled to the homeland of the other and photographed the land with "the fresh eye of a visitor."
