Neues Bild is an installation by Nova Scotia-based artist/curator Jeff Spalding that occupies the hexagonal space just outside Gallery One One One indefinitely. Spalding's instructions are to repaint the rotunda space with paint store "seconds." Spalding was an initiator in the 1970s of a process art movement in Canada called "layer painting."
