TA Opportunities in Statistics

The Department of Statistics is hiring Teaching Assistants to assist in the delivery of introductory undergraduate courses for the next academic year

  • The successful candidates will have:
    • performed well in STAT 1000, STAT 2000
    • effective communication skills.
  • Good standing in upper level courses would be an additional asset. Your duties and salary will depend on your TA status.
  • If you are interested, bring a copy of your web transcript in person to the Statistics general office, 318 Machray Hall or send a copy of your web transcript to stats_dept@umanitoba.ca.
  • For selected candidates, training and information sessions will be held. We will begin reviewing applications on April 10, 2017 and will continue
    until suitable candidates are found.
