Supplemental Instruction (SI) provides students with an opportunity to work together in a group study environment. Students work together on problems, compare notes, and discuss classroom issues under the guidance of a peer who has previously taken the course. The Statistics Help Centre offers free tutoring provided by graduate students and senior undergraduate students.

University of Manitoba Engineering Society Tutoring Registry lists independent tutors who have achieved an A in the class they wish to tutor. These tutors set their own hourly rates. Meeting times and locations are agreed upon by the tutor and student. Email email@example.com.
