What is unique about this program at the U of M?

The management of organizations major at the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba provides managerial insight at both the level of the organization – with topics in advanced organizational theory – as well as the individual level – with topics such as managerial decision making. This broad perspective allows students to integrate knowledge from other functional areas to understand how managerial practices influence individuals, teams, and the organization as a whole. The management of organizations major includes a variety of courses, allowing students to focus on the area of management that is of the most interest. In addition, there are numerous opportunities outside the classroom for students to further develop their leadership and management skills through student groups, conferences and connections with the business community.
